British Fashion Awards 2012 ♥

Stella McCartney with her two well deserved awards at the BFA’s

It’s award time again! The Savoy Hotel hosted The British Fashion Awards on Tuesday evening, awarding the Nation’s greatest Fashion talent. One of my personal favourites, Stella McCartney, received not just one but two awards for Designer of the Year and Designer Brand of the Year. Two awards well deserved I must say, she’s had two amazing Paris shows this year, a mini show at London Fashion Week and not to mention her Adidas collaboration for the team GB kit.

Model of the Year award went to 20 year old Cara Delevingne, she has recently becomes a Victoria Secret Angel and has been part of pretty much every catwalk show this season along with her fun-loving personality. One of the most talked awards went to the greatest designer of women’s shoes, Manolo Blahnik for the BFC Outstanding Achievement in Fashion award.

Manalo’s award for his great contribution to the Fashion Industry and what a fantastic contribution. Look at all these beautiful shoes…including Carrie’s royal blue shoe!

The awards were hosted by British actress Gemma Aterton and Nick Grimshaw with a glamorous line up of guests and presenters including Christopher Kane, Alexa Chung, Valentino and British Fashion Council Ambassador Samantha Cameron.
