Beauty oils are all the rage right now to hydrate your skin. I remember the times, oil was only used for extremely damaged hair circumstances (unless you’re indian, in which case once a week was the norm) No one would dare use oils on their face on a daily basis as it was thought grease would build up causing breakouts. That’s now a thing of the past. I have discovered the new Beauty Oil from Merumaya, it is so versatile and can be used for your hair, face and body but also cuticles, brows and even eyelashes to nourish, smooth and condition. So it really is just one oil for all.
It improves the elasticity of the skin so it instantly firms and helps to reduce scarring. I have found that it is very easily absorbed and like to use a drop in with my foundation every now and then to create a flawless base which does not look greasy but gives a natural glow look. I have been using this oil as part of my evening skincare routine, the scent is calming and I love the smooth texture of the oil. Once in a while, I also add some oil to the ends of my hair and it really nourishes my dry ends. When the oil has been left in my hair overnight, the next morning it is all absorbed. You wouldn’t know I put oil in my hair the night before at all.
I have also been trying out the new Mud Marvels Mask also from Merumaya and have been really impressed! It claims to give your skin a deep cleanse, unblocking pores whilst extracting toxins. Just after one use, my skin looked very clean and my complexion looked a lot brighter even without make-up. The best thing about this mask is that it actually smells like a spa, even though I have only used it a couple of times I have been very impressed. This also has a multi-use appeal as it can be used on the chest and back area to clear up any congestion which can lead to breakouts.
You can buy the Merumaya range from John Lewis online.
