In December 2004, Beyonce opted for the mermaid look for the New York premier of Dreamgirls, in a shimmery blush pink Ellie Saab gown and big glamorous curls to compliment the look. In February 2007, she wore an Armani Privé mint green gown with an asymmetric neckline to the Oscars. Later in 2007 Beyonce wore a memorable sparkly and fully embellished Dolce & Gabbana gown to the BET Awards, with a metallic statement belt.

In February 2008, for the Grammys Beyonce opts for another Ellie Saab gown but this time in pearl blue with silver sparkle; keeping her hair short which is a look we don’t see very often with Beyonce. Later in 2008, at the Cadillac Records premier she opts for a classic black Dolce & Gabbana dress with big sleeves, dressed with black peep toe heels and another statement belt. At another Oscars ceremony, Beyonce looks oh so very Hollywood in a strapless black velvet Versace gown and sparkly diamond jewellery.

Looking happy with herself at the Rodarte show in September 2011, Beyonce wears a nude leather top and a short and sweet puffball skirt with matching heels. A true fan of Ellie Saab in 2009, Beoynce chose to wear another amazing beaded strapless, nude gown to the Golden Glove Awards. At the premier of Obsessed, also in 2009, the star wore a Balmain strapless gown with a powerful train.

Beyonce had no problem styling herself for the ‘yummy mummy’ category, in November 2011 she wore Roberto Cavalli and a couple of months earlier at the MTV Music Awards in August she wore a tangerine, one-shouldered Lanvin gown. In February 2012, she stepped out with new baby girl for the first time in New York’s West Village, still looking like a superstar in wet look leggings and of course big shades.

For Dreamgirls premiers, Beyonce was certainly loving the fishtail gown trend and knowing that pearly blue looks great on her as well as Ellie Saab gowns, she wore a tiered strapless gown wrapped like a gift for the New York premier. Not shy of a figure hugging dress, even only a couple of months after giving birth, Beyonce wore a Victoria Beckham dress and Nicholas Kirkwood heels to a fundraising dinner hosted by Michelle Obama. Then in May, in her first concert since the birth of Blue Ivy, for her performance in Atlantic City the superstar wore a custom made fringed ensemble by Ralph & Russo.

In July 2012, the star rocked a Stephanie Rolland chartreuse couture gown dressed with a metallic statement belt at the BET Awards in LA, where she picked up an award for Best Female RnB Artist. One of the most show stopping dresses Beyonce has worn was in May 2012, which was her come back to the red carpet after Blue Ivy was born. She obviously wanted to make an impact in her Givenchy gown, embellished and with a full purple feather train, at the Met Ball in New York. More recently at the Super Bowl half time show back in February, she wore a custom made outfit with leather cut-out and laser detail by Rubin Singer.
