Summertime with Urban Decay ♥

I thought I could hold off with this post until I am no longer on a blogging break but this range is just too good and you need it now for summer! It is the Urban Decay summer range, which is just gorgeous with three new highlighters, a bronzer and some new shades of the 24/7 glide ons. Summertime with Urban Decay is just too good! Oh and did I forget to mention the all new Naked Skin One & Done?

Maybe that’s where I should start, the Naked Skin One & Done is a lightweight sheer foundation with all the added benefits of a great skincare product. Over time your skin feels firmer and looks more radiant and it immediately blurs imperfections and makes your skin look flawless. I have been using this for a few weeks now and I have to admit I am loving it. It’s very low maintenance and natural looking yet seems to make all the difference when you have it on. It even has SPF which is a real bonus but also a must in the summer months. This does tend to come up quite dark on the skin, I started off with the shade medium-dark but felt like I looked a lot darker than I actually was then I tried medium and it is the perfect match. So depending on what you are looking for you may need to go a shade lighter than you would normally be but if you like to look tanned, you can stick to your shade.

Also absolutely love the packaging, it is so sleek and the pump makes this product so easy to use. One pump is enough for your entire face and it also means you will not be squeezing out every last drop as the pump will do this for you.

The 24/7 glides ons are just amazing, you can never have too many shades. Heartless is a pinkish highlighter eyeliner to be used in the inner corners of the eyes and along the browbone. Personally, for my colouring I think it is a bit too pink, I prefer a champagne or gold undertones to do this highlighting for me. The shade Walk of Shame however, is a different story. It is a matte nude and I have been using it every day for my waterline, making my eyes look bigger and it does not budge. I also use this along my browbone as an everyday very subtle highlight or to define my brows and I also use this along the bridge of my nose as it blends so well.

This brings me nicely to the Afterglow highlighters, these take strobing to another level! My favourite of the three shades in Sin, which is a champagne highlight. It gives a gorgeous glow to my skin, cheekbones and inner corners of my eyes. Fireball, which is the coral toned highlight, I have been using a lot as an eyeshadow and whenever I do I always get complimented on my eye make-up. Aura, is an iridescent light pink which is a nice highlight suited better to fairer skin tones I think. Like most of this range, I love the mirrored packaging on these Afterglow highlighters!

While we’re on packaging, this beached bronzer definitely has something to be proud of! It has a beach print with rose gold trimmings, it is just so pretty and slim line. This is a gorgeous matte bronzer, it gives you a lovely summer glow. I also love using this in the crease of my eyes to really give me that overall bronzed look. As soon as summer hits every make-up brand seems to launch a new bronzer but this honestly is fabulous!
