After being announced as The Designer and Brand of the Year last week at The British Fashion Awards, it feels like the perfect moment to rave about the Stella McCartney Kids and Babywear range. All organic and all so adorable, the perfect Christmas gifts for your little ones.
After the success with her collaboration with Gap Kids back in March 2010, Stella McCartney then went on to design her own kidswear line which launched later on that year (as well as having her fourth child). After already running a hugely successful multi-million pound fashion empire and being a mother of three (now four) she managed to capture a market of young fashion forward parents, shopping for their trendy offspring.
The childrenswear range provides styles, some of which are names after her own children, for both boys and girls ageing from 0-12 years and is favoured by parents such as Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, Kate Winslet and Sienna Miller. There is also a capsule Little Miss Stella range, based on the cartoon character originally created by author and illustrator Adam Hargreaves in 2006 as an invitation to her fashion show.
