A couple of weeks ago I enjoyed an evening of drinks, photobooth fun and of course beauty with Farfetch. Celebrating the launch of the beauty side of their website. Featuring brands such as Eve Lom, Lipstick Queen and Becca Cosmetics but to name a few.
The evening took place at the London Make-Up school which was every exciting for every beauty blogger that was there! We were shown how to create some of the key make-up looks for Spring Summer and more importantly how to adapt these looks off the catwalk.
I could sit and watch make-up artists at work all day, learning about their techniques and tips. It is amazing how so many make-up artists love to create the natural look and actually do not like to pile on the products. Many make-up artists agree that the key to flawless application is a good and solid skincare routine. This is something I practise everyday and will continue to do so.
It was also nice to meet some fellow beauty bloggers and have the professional tutors and make-up artists then try the looks out on us! We were able to choose from metallic lips by Prada, navy smokey eyes with a hint of silver metallic by Chanel or the watermelon inspired eyes and cheeks.
Of course there was a lot of Photobooth fun, yummy canapes and cupcakes! Everything was beautifully presented and very socially sharable for us beauty bloggers! If you haven’t already, I would definitely recommend browsing through the new Farfetch beauty website. I have been visiting it quite a bit, adding my favourite brands to the shopping basket! I love the mix of luxury and more affordable brands on the website.
